Welcome to Navigate UWA, a University of Western Australia website designed to help you find what you’re looking for. This site contains hundreds of links to websites around the university that may be of use to you, whether you are a high-school student, a commencing first year or a graduate (or anywhere in between.) We've broken Navigate UWA into four main sections: Pathway: to get you started at UWA, Study: for resources while you're studying at UWA, Life: for focus on your student experience and Future: for steps after university. Transition to Work (Updated 30/6/08) Start in first year working out what jobs you can do with your degree. Review your skills, interests and work values and maybe gain some workplace experience or vacation work. Don't forget to have a part time job and develop your professional networks. You can do this by joining the professional organisation attached to your profession.
