Transition to Work
Preparation for work starts as early as the first year of your course and continues through till graduation - work out what jobs you can do with your degree; review your skills, interests and work values; gain some workplace experience or vacation work; have a part time job and develop your professional networks. Your successful transition from University to work depends on you having undertaken these tasks. UWA Careers Advisers can provide you with guidance on your transition and CareerHub will enable you to access useful web links, articles, FAQ's, events and employment opportunities.

Have you just finished your studies? Are you wondering what are your career options?
Twice a year (April & October) all recent graduates are sent the Australian Graduate Survey (AGS) to find out what sorts of jobs they have been able to secure. Gradsonline and GradStats are compiled from responses to the AGS and can answer your questions about graduates' activities, salaries and jobs. For more information contact Gradsonline at www.graduatecareers.com.au
